To keep those ideas flowing in, it is important to promote and share your Idea Board.
There are a few easy ways to do this:
1. Invite Members Through the Platform
- Click on your avatar at the top right corner.
- Click “Invite members”.
- Type in the emails of the people you would like to share the board with. Take note to enter one email per line.
- Click “Send Invite now”.
People whom you have invited will receive an email with the idea board link embedded from which they can click into to contribute.
2. Link it to your Website
Simply embed the link on your website. We suggest a screenshot of your idea board, linking to its URL.
Be sure to encourage your audience to add, share, and vote for ideas so that they will know what to expect when they click on the link and visit your Idea Board.
3. Social Sharing
You can share an individual idea easily through Twitter, Facebook or email. Click on the idea and you'll find the sharing options on the right side of the page under “Share idea”.
Twitter - The idea will be tweeted under your company’s Twitter account.
Facebook - The idea will be shared on your timeline by default, but you may also share it to a group or your company’s Facebook page or through direct message.
Email - Sharing via email will be through your default email client. “Check out this idea for _____” will appear in your subject title together with the link in the message body.
