What is Wantoo?
Wantoo is a cloud-based application that lets you create Idea Boards to collect feedback from whomever you like, whenever you like; wherever they may be. It helps you listen, analyze, and act on feedback.
If you haven’t signed up yet, register your account to get started. All you need is your name and email to get started.
If you’ve already signed up, go to the My Boards page.
Create a board
Click “Create a board” to start the setup of your Idea Board. You’ll be prompted to add the title of your board. Then you will be prompted to customize the theme color, logo, and your question. If you choose to skip these, you can edit them later under Configure Settings.
Manage Feedback View
Once you completed setting up your board, you will be brought to the Manage Feedback view. As the owner and administrator of your board, only you can see this view. Use this view to import ideas you may already have and organize them by the status of your idea. There’s already a test idea in there, ready and waiting for you to try out some of the editing features.
Once you are done, you can click Member view on the top right. This shows you what your Idea Board looks like to the public.
The most important step in building your Idea Board and community is inviting members to your Idea Board, so that you can start collecting that feedback right away.
You can invite members to your board in a couple of ways:
- Click Invite members from the private view and enter the emails each as a separate line. We’ll do the rest of the hard work for ya! (You can also access the Invite Members link by clicking your Avatar on the top right and then Invite members).
- Grab your Idea Board URL from your browser and share via:
- Email (if you want to draft it yourself)
- Your website
We’ve got some messaging templates here for you to use if you need some inspiration.
Now you’re up and running! Simple, right? This is only the beginning—Once your community starts forming, use the management board to help you manage any ideas that are submitted into statuses. Your board members will get notified weekly of any changes made on your boards on ideas they have voted, commented, or submitted! So go ahead and start collecting ideas!
